How Does Trulicity Work?

Dulaglutide is a synthetic analog of human GLP-1. It works by increasing insulin secretion, reducing glucagon secretion, and delaying gastric emptying.

Dulaglutide is used along with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes.

Injective Solution: 0.75 mg/0.5 mL, 1.5 mg/ 0.5 mL, 3 mg/0.5 mL, 4.5 mg/0.5 mL

  • Do not use it if the solution is cloudy, discolored, or if it contains particles.
  • Misuse can lead to an overdose. Don't inject more often than once a week.
  • If you're feeling nauseated, let your doctor know. Dulaglutide can sometimes cause stomach issues.
  • Finally, don't forget to take care of yourself! Keep all your doctor's appointments and get regular check-ups.
